About
I’m a sales engineer at Visa on the issuing side, where I help card issuers stand up the fraud and risk tooling that keeps cardholders protected and losses contained.
The work sits where the technical meets the practical: understand a customer’s real problem, then prove how the pieces fit and what they’re worth. That’s been the throughline of every role I’ve held.

I trained as an engineer and have spent my career across four industries that look unrelated on paper. The common thread is the same in each: take a real asset—an oil well, a data platform, a payments stack, a dormant brand—and make it run better.
Work
- VisaSales Engineer, Issuing Solutions — fraud and risk tooling for card issuers
- EnverusTechnical Advisor — SaaS analytics for oil & gas
- Tower Rock Oil & GasAsset Manager — managed producing oil & gas assets
- New WesternReal Estate Acquisitions — sourced and underwrote investment property
I still think like an engineer. I’d rather ship something small that works than something elaborate that only impresses—and I hold my own projects to that same standard.
Outside Visa I build and operate independent ventures. You can find what I’m currently working on under Ventures.
